Special Note About This Cruise

The Brand New Norwegian Prima, which is currently under construction and will begin service in the fall of 2022, was introduced by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) on May 12, 2021 and immediately sold out several itineraries.  I was fortunate enough to reserve 70 cabins for our group (50 balcony cabins and 20 inside cabins) on the May 7, 2023 sailing from New York City to Bermuda at the introductory prices which have risen steadily throughout May and June 2021.  If demand continues at the current pace, it is highly likely that NCL will recall some or perhaps all of my unbooked cabins.  This could happen at any time.  Therefore I am encouraging all Salisbury Cruise Club members who wish to join us on this cruise to book your cabin AS SOON AS POSSIBLE while I still have cabins available in our group inventory.

This lounge space is designed to be both spacious and intimate, allowing you to relax in peace whenever the mood strikes.

We are pleased to advise that NCL is currently offering our group special amenities including:  a free drink package throughout our cruise, 2-free meals in the specialty restaurants onboard the ship, a $50 shore excursion credit, 250 minute Internet package and a $100 onboard credit per cabin (available for registrations received by June 30, 2021 or until our cabins are gone).  And with the Salisbury Cruise Club's generous cancellation policy, if you change your mind later, you can always cancel your cruise and receive a FULL refund of all payments (including your travel protection plan premium) provided you cancel by December 15, 2022.

Bermuda Cruise Summary:

Set sail to Bermuda on Norwegian Prima, NCL's newest ship designed to make waves even when she’s docked. In Norfolk, tour the USS Wisconsin—a retired battleship that is now a museum—and visit the General Douglas MacArthur Memorial for a deeper dive into wartime memorabilia. With two overnight stays at the Royal Naval Dockyard, you have plenty of time to explore Bermuda. Build your first-ever pink sandcastle at Horseshoe Bay Beach and then sail into the mystery of the infamous Bermuda Triangle on a glass-bottom boat evening cruise. Tour the dramatic Crystal Caves, or top your best score with a round at the country’s famous Port Royal Golf Course. • 7:30 am - Bus from Salisbury to New York City

• 12:00 noon - Arrive Manhattan Cruise Terminal to board Norwegian Prima

• 4:00 pm - 7-Day Cruise departs from New York City

Monday, May 8 - Norfolk, Virginia - 11:00 am - 6:00 pm - (7 hours). 

Norfolk boasts the world's largest naval base, a busy international port and beautiful historic districts. Waterways abound in this city, with stretches of lake, river and bay fronts you'll have endless sight seeing to do. The battleship U.S.S. Wisconsin and the Hampton Roads Naval Museum gives visitors insight into the cities long navy history. The pedestrian-centric downtown waterfront area is a nice place to stroll and see docked ships, sailboats and tugboats. (average high/low temperature - 79/68)

Tuesday, May 9 - Relaxing Day at Sea

Wednesday-Friday, May 10-12 - Royal Naval Dockyard, Bermuda - 10:00 am Wednesday through 3:00 pm Friday - (53 hours - 3-days and 2-nights in Bermuda). 

Located at the tip of Bermuda's West End, Royal Naval Dockyard is home to exceptional shopping and pristine beaches. The beautifully restored Royal Navy Dockyards provide quaint boutique, a crafts market and fascinating maritime museum. Don't miss the chance to try out one of the many water sports offered in and around this gorgeous harbor. (average high/low temperature - 75/68)

Saturday, May 13 - Relaxing Day at Sea

Sunday, May 14 (Mother's Day) - Norwegian Prima returns to New York City - 7:00 am

• 11:00 am to 3:30 pm - Bus from New York City to Salisbury in time to take your mother out for dinner - unless of course you have spent the last week with your mom on the Norwegian Prima in Bermuda.

• Inside Cabin - (160 square feet - no window) - $1,900 per person.  

• Balcony Cabin - (186 square feet - plus 45 square foot balcony) - $2,200 per person

 

Total cruise package price is based on double occupancy (2 people in the cabin). 

 

Single Occupancy Cabins - We also have single occupancy cabins available at $2,900 for inside cabins or $3,600 for balcony cabins.

Group Travel Protection Plan (Optional) - We’re offering a Group Travel Protection Plan for which the premium is based upon your Total Trip Cost.  The cost ranges from $138 for Inside cabin passengers or $174 for Balcony cabin passengers in double-occupancy cabins.  Travel protection for single occupancy cabins is $206 for single-occupancy inside cabins or $290 for single-occupancy balcony cabins.  This recommended Group Travel Protection Plan will protect your trip in case of cancellation, interruption, trip delay, missed connection, baggage loss or delay, accident/ sickness medical protection, and emergency evacuation.  See separate handout for details.  To protect against unforeseen problems, we strongly recommend that you purchase the Travel Protection Plan.  If interested, please purchase the Plan at time of registration.  If you decline the Plan, please sign to confirm that you waive the protection and understand that you are assuming all potential costs and losses which may occur before or during the trip.
